WEBSITE AND SERVER LOGS

When you access this website, the web server may automatically process technical information required to deliver the website and maintain its security.

This may include:

- IP address
- date and time of access
- requested page or file
- browser and device information
- referring page, where transmitted
- server status and error information

This processing is carried out for the operation, security and technical stability of the website.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on the legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional website.

Technical logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for operation, troubleshooting and security, subject to any legal retention requirements.

CONTACT

If you contact Form Workshop by email, telephone or another communication channel, the information you provide is processed in order to respond to your enquiry and communicate with you.

Where the enquiry relates to a possible or existing contract, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

In other cases, communication may be processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on the legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and maintaining professional communication.

BOOKINGS AND CALENDLY

Form Workshop uses Calendly to provide online scheduling for Courses, Support and related meetings.

When you use a Calendly booking interface, information required for the booking may be processed by Calendly, including your name, contact details, selected appointment, time zone and information you enter in booking questions.

Calendly may also process technical information necessary to operate its service.

The booking information is used to organise and provide the requested service.

The legal basis is generally Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing is necessary to arrange or perform a contract or requested pre-contractual steps.

Calendly maintains its own privacy information concerning the processing it performs through its platform.

Where technically practical, Form Workshop may load Calendly content only when a visitor chooses to open the booking function.

PAYMENTS

Where a booking includes an online payment, payment processing may be carried out by the payment provider connected to the booking service, currently including Stripe where applicable.

Payment providers process the information required to complete and document the transaction under their own technical and legal responsibilities.

Form Workshop does not intentionally store complete payment-card details on its own web server.

Booking and payment information required for accounting, tax or contractual purposes may be retained for the periods required by applicable law.

CLIENT AND COURSE FILES

Clients or participants may provide Rhino files, Grasshopper definitions, images, documents or other reference material in connection with Courses, Support or Your Project.

These files are processed only insofar as necessary to prepare, perform and document the requested service.

The legal basis is generally Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Client files are not intentionally published or placed in publicly accessible website folders unless publication has been separately agreed.

Please do not include unnecessary personal data or confidential third-party information in submitted files.

Files are retained only for as long as they are reasonably required for the relevant engagement, follow-up work or legal obligations.

GOOGLE DRIVE AND RESOURCES

Form Workshop may use Google Drive to store and provide public resource material such as experiments, student work or course resources.

Public Resources may be indexed by the Form Workshop server through the Google Drive API and presented using the Form Workshop website interface.

Where resource information is retrieved server-side and cached, ordinary visitors do not need to authenticate with Google simply to view the Form Workshop resource index.

If you follow a direct Google Drive link or download/open a file hosted by Google, your browser may connect directly to Google and Google may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser information.

Google provides its own privacy information concerning its services.

Material submitted privately by clients must not be placed in public Google Drive resource folders unless publication has been expressly agreed.

YOUTUBE

Form Workshop may present videos hosted on YouTube.

Where possible, YouTube content should not be loaded automatically merely because a visitor opens a Form Workshop page.

When you choose to open or play a YouTube video, your browser may establish a connection to YouTube/Google. Google may then process technical information and, depending on your settings and whether you are logged into a Google account, associate activity with your account.

Google's privacy rules apply to processing carried out by YouTube/Google.

INSTAGRAM, FACEBOOK AND OTHER EXTERNAL LINKS

The website contains links to external services including Instagram, Facebook and Studio Skåtar.

These are ordinary external links, not social-media tracking plugins.

No connection to those services is intentionally initiated merely because the corresponding footer link is displayed.

If you click an external link, you leave formworkshop.net and the privacy rules of the destination provider apply.

COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

Form Workshop does not use advertising or behavioural tracking technologies.

SELF-HOSTED WEBSITE STATISTICS
Form Workshop uses a self-hosted first-party statistics system to understand aggregate use of this website. It records the page viewed, time of access, referral source or campaign parameters, device class and browser, and a coarse country indication where available. Country is obtained from server-provided geolocation information when available or otherwise estimated from the browser timezone. The statistics system does not use advertising identifiers, analytics cookies, localStorage or persistent visitor identifiers. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the statistics data. The data are used only to understand website use and improve Form Workshop's own website and communications.

Technically necessary cookies or local-storage functions may be used where required for functions expressly requested by the visitor. The private statistics dashboard uses a session cookie only for administrator login; this cookie is not set for public website visitors.

Third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies when their content is actively loaded.

Under German law, storing or accessing information on a visitor's device generally requires consent unless it is strictly necessary for providing a service expressly requested by the user.

If marketing tools or additional non-essential third-party technologies are added in the future, this Privacy Policy and, where required, the consent mechanism must be updated before they are activated.

LEGAL BASES

Depending on the context, personal data may be processed on the basis of:

Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent

Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract or steps requested before entering into a contract

Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR — compliance with a legal obligation

Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interests, particularly secure website operation and professional communication

GDPR Art. 6 provides these legal grounds for lawful processing.

RECIPIENTS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS

Personal data may be processed by service providers used for operating Form Workshop, including providers of:

- website hosting
- email
- scheduling
- payment processing
- file storage
- video hosting

Such providers receive data only insofar as necessary for the relevant service.

PROCESSING OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA

Some service providers, including providers headquartered in the United States, may process data outside Germany or the European Economic Area.

Where GDPR rules on international transfers apply, processing is carried out on the basis of an applicable legal transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards.

STORAGE PERIOD

Personal data is not retained indefinitely.

Data is deleted when it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected, unless legal retention obligations, contractual claims or other legitimate reasons require longer storage.

Different categories of data may therefore have different retention periods.

YOUR RIGHTS

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you may have the right to:

- obtain information about personal data processed about you
- request correction of inaccurate data
- request deletion of data
- request restriction of processing
- receive data in a portable format where applicable
- object to processing based on legitimate interests
- withdraw consent at any time for future processing

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.

If processing is based on consent, withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the website, services or legal requirements change.

The current version published on formworkshop.net/privacy applies.
