Booking policy
These booking conditions apply to services booked directly through formworkshop.net, unless different conditions are agreed in writing for an individual commission.
COURSES
Each Form Workshop Course consists of six 2.5-hour course components.
Before the course, Form Workshop discusses the participating team's experience, interests, objectives and relevant design challenges with the client. The programme is then curated around these requirements.
ONLINE COURSE
The Online Course costs:
€3,000 net for up to 15 participants
Each additional participant:
€200 net
The six course components can be scheduled flexibly over several days or weeks using the online scheduling system.
A €100 reservation and administration payment is payable before scheduling.
This payment covers the initial communication, planning and setup of the course and is credited in full towards the course fee.
The remaining course fee is invoiced separately.
If the client decides not to proceed after Form Workshop has begun the planning and setup process, the reservation and administration payment is normally not refunded, subject to any statutory consumer rights.
If Form Workshop is unable to provide or confirm the course, the reservation payment is refunded in full.
ON-SITE COURSE
The On-Site Course costs:
€4,000 net for up to 15 participants
Each additional participant:
€200 net
The six course components are normally delivered over three consecutive days.
Travel and accommodation within Europe are included.
Courses requiring intercontinental travel or exceptional travel arrangements are agreed separately before confirmation.
The course fee is invoiced separately.
Where travel or accommodation has already been booked for a confirmed course, non-refundable external costs may remain payable if the client subsequently cancels the engagement.
SUPPORT
Form Workshop Support is offered as a package of:
3 × one-hour sessions — €300 final price
For students:
3 × one-hour sessions — €216 final price
For the standard package, €100 is payable when booking the first session.
For the student package, €72 is payable when booking the first session.
This first payment is credited towards the package.
After the first session, the client decides whether to continue.
If the client stops after the first session, nothing further is due.
If the client continues, the remaining amount is invoiced separately:
€200 standard
€144 student
Support is intended for focused and contained geometry, modelling and Grasshopper problems.
If the required work develops into a larger task, Form Workshop may propose continuing the work through Your Project instead.
PREPARATION AND CLIENT FILES
For Courses, Support and other services, clients may provide descriptions, images, Rhino files, Grasshopper definitions or other relevant reference material.
By supplying material, the client confirms that they are entitled to share it with Form Workshop for the purpose of the agreed work.
Submitted material is used for preparing and providing the requested service and is not intentionally made public unless this has been separately agreed.
Client files must not be stored in publicly accessible website folders or public assets.
Clients should avoid submitting unnecessary personal data or confidential information belonging to third parties.
SCHEDULING
Sessions and course components can be booked according to the availability shown in the relevant scheduling system.
If an appointment needs to be moved, please contact Form Workshop as early as possible.
Form Workshop may occasionally need to reschedule a session because of illness, travel disruption, technical problems or other circumstances that prevent the agreed service from being provided. In such cases, an alternative date will be offered.
PRICES AND VAT
Course prices identified as net are stated excluding any VAT that is legally applicable.
Support prices are shown as final prices. VAT is included where applicable.
The applicable VAT treatment depends on the service, billing location and customer status and is shown on the relevant invoice.
CONSUMER RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
If you are acting as a consumer rather than on behalf of a business or organisation, statutory withdrawal rights may apply to contracts concluded online.
Where applicable, the statutory withdrawal period is normally 14 days.
If you expressly request that Form Workshop begins providing the booked service before that period has expired, you may be required to pay for services already provided if you subsequently exercise your right of withdrawal.
Where a paid service has been fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period, the statutory right of withdrawal can expire if the legal requirements for beginning the service early have been fulfilled.
Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
CANCELLATION BY FORM WORKSHOP
If Form Workshop cancels a paid service and no suitable replacement date can be agreed, payments relating to services that have not been provided will be refunded.
YOUR PROJECT AND CUSTOM COMMISSIONS
Your Project, custom courses and other individually scoped assignments are subject to a separate proposal or agreement.
Where an individually agreed proposal contains terms that differ from this Booking Policy, the individually agreed terms take precedence.
